As the CEO of ANI EGOISTA ink., I'm always looking for new experiences and inspiration to bring back to the company. That's why I was thrilled to return to the vibrant city of New York, where art, friends, and food come together in perfect harmony.
I started my day with a delicious lunch at La Mercerie, a contemporary French eatery in the heart of Soho. The restaurant doubles as a home decor showcase and offers everything from gourmet dishes to elegant tableware. I enjoyed a buckwheat crepe with Nicoise salad and was impressed with the quality of the food.
Next, I took a stroll through the Soho fashion district and did some shopping at Frankie shop before making my way to my favorite spot in the city - the Brooklyn bridge. Despite the windy and cloudy weather, the view of the iconic Lady Liberty was breathtaking and reminded me of all the fantastic experiences I have been fortunate enough to have. It's a tradition of mine to take a coffee break with a view of the bridge at %Arabica coffee after crossing the bridge.
Later in the day, I visited the MoMA museum, which boasts six levels and over 400 rooms of art. The exhibits were diverse and awe-inspiring, and I easily could have spent hours wandering through the different galleries.
For dinner, I opted for Asian cuisine, which is always a staple of my trips to NYC. I headed to Chinatown and dined at the Chinese Tuxedo, a warm and cozy restaurant with a unique and alternative Chinese vibe. The food was incredible, and I was already planning my next visit.
Before leaving the city, I took a morning walk to La Cabra, a stunning cafe with attention to detail in every aspect. The interior, music, and pastries were all beyond expectations, and the smooth coffee and cardamom bun were a delightful treat.
Thank you, NYC, for another unforgettable experience. I can't wait to come back and see what's new and inspiring in this fantastic city. Until next time.
