The Essence of Design

Q: Ani, how would you describe your approach to design?
A: “Design for me is more than a blend of form and function. It’s a profound process of contemplation and creation that impacts how we perceive and interact with the world around us. I strive to create jewelry and accessories that not only adorn but also make meaningful statements about the wearer, reflecting their personality and values.”

Jewelry packaging featuring various accessories: a white tote bag, cases for combs, sketches of jewelry designs, and a mailing box with the inscription ‘CREATE YOUR OWN HAPPINESS’, all displayed on a neutral background, demonstrating a minimalist and modern style.

The Unboxing Experience

Q: How does the importance of packaging and presentation of a product relate to your design?
A: “Packaging is the first encounter a customer has with a product, and it should speak the same language as the product itself. It’s crucial that packaging is not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflective of our sustainability values and attention to detail. It’s an extension of the story that each piece of jewelry tells.”

Designing a Life

Q: Your work is often mentioned as an embodiment of the “Design Your Life” movement. Could you tell us more about this philosophy?

A: “‘Design Your Life’ is an invitation to self-expression and conscious life shaping. This movement inspires people not just to choose jewelry but to craft their lives as true artists. My pieces serve as tools for self-expression, enabling individuals to narrate their stories and express their unique vision of the world.”

Inspired by Nature

Q: Where do you find inspiration for your creations?
A: “Nature is my greatest muse. Its inexhaustible diversity and perfect forms inspire me to seek harmony in design. Observing nature has taught me to appreciate beauty in simplicity, which deeply influences every piece I create.”

The Future of Design

Q: How do you envision the future of design? What changes and innovations do you plan to introduce to your work?
A: “Looking ahead, I see design becoming even more integrated into everyday life, transcending the notion of luxury to become an essential aspect of daily existence. I aim to continue innovating and creating jewelry that carries transformative power and accentuates the individuality of each person.”

“MY GREATEST MUSE IS NATURE. ITS BOUNDLESS DIVERSITY, DEPTH, AND THE PERFECTION OF FORMS ARE THE FOUNDATION OF MY CREATIVITY. IN EVERY DROP OF DEW, IN THE LINE OF A LEAF, IN THE CURVE OF A BRANCH, THERE ARE ENDLESS LESSONS OF BEAUTY AND HARMONY THAT I STRIVE TO TRANSLATE INTO THE WORLD OF DESIGN. NATURE IS MY MOST SIGNIFICANT TEACHER, AND THROUGH MY WORK, I AIM TO PASS ON HER LESSONS OF ETERNITY AND CONSTANT RENEWAL.”— Ani Egoista
